Sarah English ("the App") is an English-learning app for Arabic speakers. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
Sarah English collects no personal data and requires no account. Your learning progress, favorite content, settings, and preferences are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
If you purchase Sarah Premium, RevenueCat processes your subscription status to verify your entitlement. RevenueCat does not share your personal identity with us — we only receive whether your subscription is active.

Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. The App requests non-personalized ads only: ads are not based on tracking you across other apps or websites, and the App does not use App Tracking Transparency because it does not track you. Google may process limited device information to serve the ads and cap their frequency, under Google's own privacy policy. Premium subscribers see no ads.

Voice input uses your iPhone's built-in speech recognition by default — audio is processed on your device (Apple may process audio to provide the service, per Apple's privacy policy); we never receive your voice audio.
Optionally, you may enable a cloud fallback (Groq or OpenAI) using your own API key, which is stored only on your device. We never see or store your API key.
The App does not knowingly collect data from children. All processing described above is performed by the third-party services listed.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sarah English (the "App"), an English-learning app for Arabic speakers. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Sarah English provides English lessons, grammar explanations, graded stories, pronunciation practice, vocabulary tools, and a conversational tutor ("Sarah") for Arab learners. The App requires no account; your progress, settings, and preferences are stored only on your device.
Free tier: full access to lessons and stories, supported by advertising.
Sarah Premium (7.99 CAD/month, auto-renewing): removes all advertising and unlocks unlimited conversations with Sarah.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store, managed and cancelled through your Apple ID settings, and verified by our subscription provider (RevenueCat). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can restore purchases at any time from the Settings tab.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Content in the App is provided for personal, non-commercial learning use.
All lessons, stories, exercises, and original content in the App are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish App content without permission.
The App relies on third-party services (RevenueCat for subscriptions, Google AdMob for advertising, and optional speech-to-text providers). Your use of the App is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies.
The App is provided "as is" for educational purposes. Learning outcomes depend on your own effort; we make no guarantee of any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
